An American who was among four Christian activists kidnapped last year in Iraq has been killed, a State Department spokesman said Friday.
The FBI verified that a body found in Iraq Friday morning was that of Tom Fox, 54, of Clear Brook, Va., spokesman Noel Clay said. He said he had no information on the other three hostages.
and the MSM is worried about underwear on some freakin terrorists head...
Prayers going up for his family.
Nice. Looks like the terrorists have won.
Wasn't this guy one of the pseudo-religious leftist kooks that went over there like the chief scientist who tried to placate the alien in the '50s sci-fi movie 'The Thing'?
Horrible bastards.
Now I'm certain all the 'moderate' muzzies will be rioting in the streets decrying this violence...
Oh, wait, they're all knicker-bundled over some silly editorial cartoons...
When will we learn, let's use some airpower and decimate them...?
but we need to UNDERSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND THEM!
I mean... this guy was there to UNDERSTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND THEM, right?
huh, seems like that works....
The "religion of peace" my arse...
That makes AT LEAST two of us!
This is a horrible question, but, does his body have a head?
That's what I had read but don't know for sure.
Prayers for his family. This is just so heartbreaking.
That reminds me...
We haven't heard much about Jill Carroll, the "hostage" held for a ransom of trades by bloodcult members she sympathized with.
Where?
Oh yeah, genocide is such a great American tradition. /sarcasm
He is one of the peace-nik pseudo-religionists that gravitate to the apostate denominations. Here's his organization [ http://www.cpt.org/publications/history.php ]. It's unfortunate that he was killed, but I do not consider him guiltless in his own death. In fact, I would consider him a yet another fool who got what he unthinkingly sought. Pity should be reserved for the relatives that cared about him and the pain that they will be left with.
Prayers up for Tom Fox and his family.
"Immediately Jesus spoke to them and said, 'Take heart, it is I; do not be afraid.'" - Matthew 14:27
That would make the writers(crAP)of this story happy.
I share your feelings...
While I'm sorry he was killed, and no doubt suffered before he died, the truth of the matter is that he went over there to try to harm our war effort. He was a traitor to his country. That said, prayers for him and his family.

You gotta feel bad for a guy who goes to Iraq to prove WE, the USA, are abusing the Al Qaeda terrorists in Iraq and he ends up like this. Like Elmer Fudd says, "It's a scwewy world."
<<
If that is what he did, I do not feel the least bit sorry for the dead idiot.
(I'm feeling feisty tonight.)
Better to do unto others before they do unto us!
May his family and friends find comfort and solace. He was an American regardless.
Nothing personal but that's crap. He was a US citizen and didn't in any, way shape or form deserve to be slaughtered like some kind of animal. He was killed by f'ing robotic evil worthless cowards. Even the worst American with the most vile politics is worth a 1000 of the muzzie scumbags.
he was there to investigate horrors committed by our courageous troops against jailed suspects. I guess the ROP members didn't care that he was there to bash our troops and America; a muslin snake scum is still that with or w/out lipstick, will these peace activists ever learn
I do not sympathize with the death, however savage, of people who side with those who would murder us.
I make no apologies.
You dont have to be in Iraq to protest about it.
What was the joke about the shiek going to a Washington DC party where he met the producer of Star Trek? Seems he told him his son liked Star Trek but wondered why there were no mooslims on the ship. The producer answered that it takes place in the future and there ain't no friggin' mooslims !!!!!!!
Somethings gonna give, I don't know when, but it's not going to be pretty and the PC crown ain't gonna like it....F'm
The statement added, "We (Christian Peacemaker Teams) believe that the root cause of the abduction of our colleagues is the U.S. and British-led invasion and occupation of Iraq."
Fox had left instructions as to what should be done if he was kidnapped. "Under no circumstances did he want any violent efforts to rescue him," Maulden said.
Pearl Hoover, another member of the support team and pastor of the Northern Virginia Mennonite Church, noted that Fox and his colleagues had been trying to help Iraqis who were being held without access to lawyers or family members. "The very thing that he was in Iraq trying to help with is now happening to him."
Stupidity has no bounds. What a waste! He was killed because he is an A-E-R-I-C-A-N.
My sympathies to his family.
It's a common impression when somebody's get killed by muslimes. You have a point when you asked that. What if when a muslim dies, well ask: Does his head have a body?
Probably.
It's just likely sitting on his back now, though.
Good catch, Ace! Thanks for the post.
SD, A modicum of decorum please. An American has been killed. We can thrash politics on another thread.
His citizenship is no more valid to me than the latest inmate addition to any death row block. Yeah, I agree that the Islamo-fascists are sick mothers and ought to be exterminated because of just because of precisely these kinds of murderous things, but this guy went looking for it. Read the link I provide about his sponsor (or cover) organization. He was no friend of America, our troops or our way of life. His citizenship seems to have been by fortune of birth and nothing more - as it is for all travelers.
Prayers for his family and friends. We may not agree with his politics, but he certainly did not deserve this, even if he was aware of the risks of coming to Iraq. May the poor bastard RIP.
>>In fact, you'll find that these fruits are taking up the Cross O' Jesus (TM) on behalf of all sorts of leftist causes including saving trees from being clear-cut.<<
I actually have heard radio spots here in Dallas on CONSERVATIVE radio KSKY, by a group called something like "Evangelicals Against Global Warming" or some such crap.
The voice-over said something like "Evangelicals all over are banding together to stop Global Warming" and so forth. It was such thinly disguised leftist propaganda.
Of course, to these lefties, Evangelicals are a bunch of stupid, idiotic, easily-fooled dupes, who will believe their rot.
I hope these morons keep pouring their money into such futile efforts. Leftists are such I-D-I-O-T-S!
LOL
...we can end all of this right now if we had a leader with the courage to fight this war to WIN this war!
:(

I stand by my post #29. If you sympathize, that's your right.
I do not. I am simply stating the truth.
Bastards.
Some of in-laws are ardent Marxists and Mennonite activists like many of these kooks. No doubt they're mourning tonight, but, they'll hate Bush, conservatism, capitalism and the American way of life even more in the morning.
I suppose not. Did Rachel Corrie know trhe risks of going there? No. These professional American protesters, who apparently hold no 9-5 jobs they have to report to, and have unlimited resources to travel domestically and abroad to protest, know nothing of the risks. What are the risks of violently protesting Stateside? You get arrested, put in a bus with a bunch of groovy, fun people where you sing Imagine and Kumbaya on the way to comfy city jail, and then you get off with a small fine (worst case scenario) or nothing, usually. You make new friends along the way. It's a social situation in this cold, lonely world, don't discount that aspect. Americans know nothing of risks.
Yep......

Oh well......
May this poor man Rest in Peace.
