I bet we could come up with more than were killed on 9/11 if we tried.

Start here.

Nah. It begins *here*.

How about this: All illegals must register under some federal identity program.

All must be fingerprinted and entered in a worker database.

All must show a record of "paid" health insurance policy.

All must show appropriate, valid drivers license.

All must register all family members in the states.

All must pass some basic english speaking skills.

All must pass a bilateral crime database exchange shared between the U.S. and mexico to ferret out the criminals.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. I agree with your points above. I haven't heard much about Senator Coburn, but I'll review his past performance.

"Sorry for taking so long to respond"

Whoops. Left out "All must have pre-paid, annual car insurance."

I wish people would spend half as much time working in their own cities to change sanctuary policies and other refusal to cooperate with feds. They can make a million laws in Washington and it won't do any good as long as illegals are safe in NYC and LA and South Florida cities. I see stories of some state and local officials beginning to cooperate, but most of you blame Bush instead of the state and local officials who have made this situation almost impossible by refusing to cooperate.

Brownback is every bit as bad as McCain. Two friends of mine scheduled an appointment with him at least 4 weeks ago for last week to talk to him about illegal immigration. When they arrived he acted as if he had an important meeting come up, but he would chat with them on his way to the meeting. He stated, "I simply do not have it in my heart to send widows and orphans back to their countries."

One problem is immediate catastrophic terrorism. The other is slow catastrophic immigration issues. Talk to Bush about the immigration issues. I think he has the terrorism issues covered, except for the portgate fiasco

Considering how porous the borders apparently are....I'm thinking we could very easily have a potential terror event..that's traced to our borders.

FWIW-

That's one reason why he should never be President. You don't want a guy who blows his stack with his finger on the nuclear trigger. I can think of plenty of reasons to disqualify John McCain - and that's one. Another is his stand on illegal immigration.

Another reason would be his apparent magnetic attraction to microphones, and T.V. lights.

after all the crimes, murders, robbery, rapes, auto accidents committed by these illegals and documented ad nauseum here on FR..you are either uninformed or very callus to the citizens of this country.

In fifteen minutes, every crime will be terrorism.

I have said it before, I will say it again....all issues aside, McCain is unstable.

His approach to the (if true) was not the material Presidents are made of. Calm, rational, disarming...none of those are part of the real John McCain.

I fear the "after all I've done for you people" is.

If this turns out to be untrue, I will have to apologize.

Now that's a cute way of posting! Wish we could put them into a 3 frame gif but can't since they already are animations! You know what I mean as these may be tables.

I agree with you. The effort needs to be applied at all levels. Citizenry, City, County, State, and Federal.

I don't know if you were speaking in general, but I do not blame the President OR local officials. I admire and respect the President. I approve of the majority of his decisions. I don't believe there was a malevolent intent at any level of government allowing illegal immigration to have developed to it's current state.

Has it been just negligence (at one or all levels)? Perhaps, but I don't know enough yet to make an informed decision or form a reliable opinion.

Some argue that it has been purposeful. It is pretty common to hear democratic analysts say that the demographics are making the country more democratic as they claim the Hispanic vote. Bill O'Reilly has reported on the policies of the Ford foundation designed to create an underclass which would support a socialist revolution.
The laws were changed in the 70's and we are seeing the cumulative results.

I found the source for one of your quotes from Michael Cutler at
Mike Cutler: It is currently estimated that some 30% of the federal inmate population is comprised of convicts who are identified as being "foreign born." When I was assigned to the Unified Intelligence Division of DEA in New York from 1988 to 1992 I compiled statistics concerning the nature of the defendants who were arrested by DEA and the DEA Task Force in New York. It was estimated that some 60% of the defendants arrested in New York City were identified as being "foreign born" while 30% of the defendants arrested nationwide were identified as being "foreign born." Those numbers remained constant for several years afterwards and I believe they would not be much different today.

Additionally, I have heard that some 90% of the arrest warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for aliens. I believe that it would not be hard to show that more than 3,000 murders per year can be attributed to illegal aliens in our country.

I found it at http://towncriernews.blogspot.com/2005/11/michael-cutler-former-ins-agentdobbs.html

Any further information on this subject would be appreciated. I'm looking around for better statistics and sources on this specific fact.
