She's made a mess of her life, so she reads Psalm 23. Geez.
I do have compassion for this woman - we all have done dumb things. And I had a major house fire, where I lost everything, so I've been there.
But having 10 children without a husband? No wonder she is jobless. She sounds like she is seriously deficient in the common sense department.
Maybe she should have read some of the other parts of the bible, like "fleeing from fornication" or Proverbs. I raised my sons on Proverbs. They are the best basis for a successful life you will find.

She sounds like she is seriously deficient in the common sense department. Having an open flame (burning candle) in a house full of kids doesn't imply a good grounding in common sense either!

...we all have done dumb things. ?
If this "nurse's" IQ even approached room temperature, I'd be amazed.
Since the Bible has been her only book she could have spent more time memorizing the Ten Commandments.
I don't believe it. She probably lays around with the kids watching Jerry Springer where, on occasion, she might see someone even worse off than herself.

I do have compassion for this woman - we all have done dumb things. The difference being, of course, that most of us do not make it a lifestyle.

They are the best basis for a successful life you will find. It's all true, but the problem is, what do we do now? There's no easy solution to this mess. But it's still best that the mother and children be kept together. They need help, which is best provided privately.
