If this poll is accurate, it is because of weak leadership.

Watch the movie "The Lord of The Flies". Bush is exactly like the gentle young man who although initially in control, loses everything because of a tendency to try to make friends with his enemies.

This doesn't work, never has, never will.

This movie is a standard standard military training tool.

He has failed to defend our borders, he seems to be more interested in letting Dubai operate our ports than in capturing OBL, he has not acted time and time again to defend himself (and therefore those of us who voted for him) against the barrage of scurrilous attacks by the democrats.

What we wanted was John Wayne, what we got was Pollyanna.

Actually, it was a BRITISH corp. that made the deal with Dubai Ports. If you don't like it, take it up with the Brits. BTW, the deal had the company operated only the commercial aspects of the terminals, it wouldn't have owned the ports.

Yep ...he tried to buy friends and votes with

Farm Bill
Highway Bill
Medicaid Bill
Energy Bill...

Add these up. ...whatever gargantuan number you come up with...was it in any way necessary to blow all this taxpayer money?

letting Dubai operate our ports

You must do a better job with your research. They would have operated TERMINALS at the ports. They would NOT be operating the ports.

Oh, and BTW, did you happen to know that they ALREADY operate terminals at the Miami port?

"If this poll is accurate, it is because of weak leadership."

I beg to differ with you.

It's not because of weak leadership as you wish to believe, it's because they keep polling my bloody answering machine and filling in the blanks with their own answers when they don't get any from the machine. I've heard them do it with my own ears.

>a tendency to try to make friends with his enemies.

Man, ain't that the truth. It is seen as weakness by his enemies. Better to find the enemy Alpha Dog and give it a good swift kick, metaphorically speaking. Go on the attack. Put your enemies on defense.

Attacking the Dems who wish to shield terrorist's privacy on their Friends-and-Family phone plan should be a slam-dunk for the President.

It's a fine line. I want Bush to be weak enough that his dishonest amnesty-betrayal schemes go nowhere, yet I don't want the stammering man-kisser to drag the GOP congressional majorities down the drain with him.

LOL. I voted for George W Bush, not either John Wayne or Pollyanna.

Your attack as a supporter is even more telling. Et Tu Brute?

LOL, I was talking to someone the other day and used the "Polyanna" reference for Bush. I voted twice for him, and probably would a 3rd time (if it was legal) if he ran against ANY Dim, but he's no Reagan.

Even though the Dubai thing was blown out of proportion, we needn't have handed ANY Nat'l Security issue to the Dims that made them appear (however illusory) that they give a damn.

This movie is a standard standard military training tool.

So that's why I had to read this book in my High school English class. We had to right a paper on it and were tested on it as well. I always wondered how and why such a violent book was required for minors to read in a state school.
