This President does not have that luxury.
Any of his statements would be disputed, and he would be accused of lying, and the public will buy anything the MSM says.

Exactly. Clinton had press talking points Faxed out to the MSM by Carville, Begala, etc. to parallel any topic he wanted to address. They ran with stories supporting pretty much any claim he wanted to make orally.

Not only that, but if Sandy Burglar got his hands pants on any of these documents he'd put a Kinko's Copy Center stamp on the back of them to prove they came from some Republican operative in Texas.
