That is very interesting, thanks. I guess it's just people being people.

Check my follow-up post #54.
The sources I eventually tracked down appear to say that radar was
almost used...but a last-second break in the cloud allowed for a visual.
Of course, I may be misled by the sources...maybe the radar was used,
but they had a visual confirmation?

Having been stung by the apparent errant story of using the cathedral as
the aimpoint...I'm now gunshy on the whole topic.

You might want to check my corrective post (#54). Looks like I was
stung by a errant story citing the cathedral as the aiming point.

No probs. It's not surprising though, that a story like that would emerge from the anti-nuke crowd, eh?

Not someone I want to go to lunch with probably.

I don't know, Waldemar sounds like a character.

It's Boaz.

4 Boaz, 4 Booz. Tie game.

Not in my KJV. It's Booz.

With all due respect, I wouldn't trust a translation of the Bible that is missing five books.

Trust me, I have other Bibles...36 different ones at this point in time.

Paper is still a valuable commodity.
Good quality water color paper is not cheap. I paint on both sides if I'm not happy with side A - I use side B.

The Latin Vulgate of St. Jeremone from the 5th Century reads:

"qui fuit Iesse qui fuit Obed qui fuit Booz qui fuit Salmon qui fuit Naasson"

So I guess Booz it is.
