What puzzles me is why a Senator is supposed to be doing all this stuff. What bothers me is that the state government hasn't cut taxes.

...and now the New York City cancer is creeping outward into the rest of the state...redmeat counties in the Hudson Valley are now rotting into rancid blue.

I'm in exile, as are all my brothers...though I'd love to return to NYS, I need a job.

This is absolutely classic! I have never seen the fawning press more on display than in this article. She helped to get farm products from upper state New York down to New York City! Man, I bet in the 450 year history of the state of NY, that has never happened before. Farmers have grown fruits and vegetables in upper state New York for 3-400 years and thought "What can we do with these?" while people in New York City for 400 years have said, "Gee, I wonder where we could ever get some fruits and vegetables to eat?" Thank God, Hillary! was elected to the Senate and in a moment of inspiration said, "Hey! If we get farmers to ship their veggies down to NY City, it will be a win-win for everyone!" Now, NY City folks are eating fresh fruit and veggies, getting healthy, and not needing national health care insurance! Hooray for Hillary!

An "A for "effort?" The same thing could be said about countless criminals.

Hmm...don't I recall BJ Billy promising 100,000 more cops on the street? One of the more interesting things about these folks is how they do math.

This is, however, a perfect example of what we were screaming about when FR began. The Clintons tell outright lies and the press lies to make them look good. Stain-boy pees down our collective back and the press tells us it's raining. Don't think it won't happen again.

So, she hit the nail on the head. It's W's fault.

I have been told that hand crafts do not sell well on eBay. I notice no quotes from grateful artisans.

"Upstate New York" is virtually the whole big state of New York, except for New York City and Long Island, give or take. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upstate_New_York#The_ambiguous_definition_of_.22Upstate_New_York.22

While I hate to see any jobs lost, 34,800 in five years (6960 per year) in this big state doesn't seem like a large amount. Some cities and areas are harder hit than others, and some cities are seeing rebirth through the efforts of entrepreneurs and creative city governments.

As much as I do not want to see Hillary re-elected, she is in my western NY location continually, often working on links between universities and businesses for creation of high tech jobs. Maybe her participation is a mere photo op, but she's visible here and that will get her votes (not mine.)

You are right, she will have no trouble getting re-elected there. They will forget any promises she made.

Rewarding failure with an A for effort. What counts is the intention, not the result.

Boy, has Rush Limbaugh hit the nail on the head.

Could you name some? :)

Hillary - what's the unemployment rate? Maybe the reason jobs are leaving NY is because NY has crappy state goverment.
