My customers are manufacturing plants here in the good ol' USA. They have plenty of "factory jobs" available-- their #1 complaint is the inability to find good solid workers who are not on drugs, and who want to show up dependably for work. I have seen it myself firsthand, many of those at the entry level are not thinking about working hard and getting ahead, they are busy figuring out how to do as little as possible, and skipping work.
There is plenty of opportunity in this country for the average Joe who wants to work.
I agree.
I live and work in Richmond Virginia, and my staff is 99% black.
They think they should be given a standing ovation if they show up for work.
They have an "entitlement" mentality, and NEVER let work get in the way of a party.
They have no initiative to better their lives. They just want more babies.
I'm so frustrated. But, I didn't create the problem, and I sure as hell can't fix it. Bill Cosby tried, and his career is over.
