"If you decide that's the method of self-defense you're going to choose, you better be prepared to deal with the consequences."

Is she threatening somebody?

No Becca, the perp better learn to deal with them.

Another anti-gun idiot.

"If you bring a gun into the home, it increases the risk of homicide by three,"

With a dozen, or so, guns, I'm surprised that anyone is still alive in my neighborhood.

Actually, that is not bad advice.
I don't think I'm taking it the way the "Brady Bunch" intended, but it isn't bad advice.
There are a great number of laws to protect the criminals from their intended target. There is also the emotional experience of taking another's life. Those who haven't been in that position may take it lightly, but it is a bit different when you have been there.

Cordially,

Your observation is keen.

Having lost in the court of public opinion and the majority of legislative bodies the Left is now focusing on retaining their many allies in the prosecutor's offices nationwide. Further they are involved in placing political pressure on prosecutors and demanding that "prosecutorial discretion" be interpreted in a manner designed to prosecute as many persons as possible.
In Southern California a few years back a women was initially facing concealed weapons violations after she shot a rapist who had drug her under a porch. Only a public outcry stopped it. A man in Northern Arizona is on trial for shooting a man who attempted to assault him in the woods with the Prosecutor dismissing the Investigating officers and testimony of the Deputy tracker who showed how the (now dead) assailant indeed had been running/trotting on his toes/charging when shot. The prosecutor has sought to conceal from the jury the assailiants now known mental illness because it was unknown to the shooter at the time although the man charged after the shooter had fired one round to warn off three unrestrained dogs. And the list goes on. A fellow firearms instructor I know spent 3 years in civil litigation after he made the error of shooting an assailant in the leg. The crimminal was unknown to anyone in the house and had just broken down the door and entered the instructors home.
So in a word yes that is exactly what the left is up to.
