Ohio Valley residents who would like to be part of President George W. Bushs visit to Wheeling on Wednesday still have a chance to get tickets through the cooperative efforts of the Wheeling Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ogden Newspapers Inc.
Chamber President Terry Sterling said Monday that 100 tickets are being made available to the general public at 10 a.m. today at the offices of the Ogden Newspapers, 1500 Main St., Wheeling. Tickets will be handed out on a first come, first served basis, with a maximum of two tickets per person. I thought they usually do a background check on attendees, rather than just handing out tickets willy nilly, but then maybe that's just in New Hampshire in tiny little venues where you're usually within paper-airplane distance or closer.
The News-Register actually published the story of the Prez's visit last Thursday or Friday. I'm sure Wheeling is crawling with SS.
They are currently in a dead heat @ 48% each!
I think that is the Enemedia hype bs. I was handed a ticket willy nilly last fall. There were 2 commies right in front of me writing down every word the President said.
Not only were we close to the President, we were very close to AF1. Magnificent sight, btw.
LOL! I can just picture that too, like they were on some secret underground mission.
Yep, they were young, college age, dressed like the 60's hippies. The "girl" had a sticker on her back pack for our guys challenger...dead give away.
Nice spin on the headline...

They changed the headline. What's your point?
I thought so, and who is "admin?"
I'm still trying to find any headline with your spin, can you show me where that was posted on their website?
You could have asked before you played the role of posting cop. Take a hike.
Nope. Unless you want to admit to being a MOD, you have no more right to change headlines than me. Us little average posters get called on that constantly. What makes you special...your sign up date??
You're such a crafty snitch, why not just ask a mod or hit the abuse button? Either way I'm not doing research for you.
I did. They changed your title and never said a word to you.
If you had a lick of sense you would have noticed the original article with a different title was posted on their website eight hours before you posted. Even the lead paragraphs changed. You must think the mod on duty yesterday morning was just twiddling their thumbs.

Nice spin on the headline...
Or, you could have asked me instead of being a smarta##.
Don't give up your day job, Sherlock.
