New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont are not the problem, states like NJ are the problem they make their citizens targets for criminal. Gun Laws are a joke to criminals the more the better, only affects people that obey them. Don't blame the gun blame the person for their actions. I bet Gefreiter never fired a firearm in their life. There are over 20,000 gun laws on the books, has any of them make any big difference? No! If a neighbor got hit by a drunk driver with a car like the one you own or any innocent person, how would you or they feel if the neighbor took you to court and the Police arrested you, saying since you own such a vehicle you must be responsible for the drunk driving accident, and you wind up in jail and held liable in civil case? Like a car any firearm or any device can be used for good or bad. Think what else can be used to hurt someone, shouldn't they also be banned? Blame the person and not the device. Anyone who hurts someone without just cause should be sentenced to the fullest extent of the Laws.

leo468,
When I wrote, "If only NH and VT and ME would stop selling guns, the world would be a better place" it was sarcasm.

I apologize if it wasn't as obvious as I thought.
