Bush needs to do more of this. Get mad. Fight back - he is at his best when he does! Helen Thomas looked like a complete jerk.

"Despite the latest White House sales campaign, the American people have rightly lost confidence in President Bush's disastrous handling of Iraq," said Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass.
Right after the President's speech.

He has rolled up his sleeves and taken 'em on!
He smacked that smirk right off of her wretched face! Rude old hag tried to interrupt him several times which let everyone see her hostility. Stupid old woman.

He openly said, as I understand -- I don't want to misquote him -- something along the lines that, "We killed the Patriot Act." I darn near laughed myself silly as I clapped and cheered when the President said that!

"Despite the latest White House sales campaign, the American people have rightly lost confidence in President Bush's disastrous handling of Iraq," said Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass. I guess "it" still thinks HE speaks for the majority of Americans...idiot!
"We as Democrats may be in the minority in Congress, but we speak for the majority of Americans."

I just thought it was interesting that the Rats have tried to jump to the MSM right after the speech. Kennedy's such a joke.

I was at the Capital Music Hall in Wheeling today. He came out took the microphone, talked and answered questions for 2 hours. He was strong in his convictions, funny and in command of all 2000 of us. You could have heard a pin drop in between the applause.
I told my husband if we could just get libs and democrats to actually listen to what the President says we might get somewhere. I won't hold by breath waiting.
God bless President Bush! What a genuine man!

Would you happen to be the woman from Ohio who asked the question about how to get the media to give the troops better coverage?

No, I am not that woman. I do have to say that the President was on his game today. I think he is fed up with the dems and the press and is going to bring his message to the people himself. He was absolutely great today!
To: CyberAnt
The media's lack of talk about those statements means THE PRESIDENT HIT THE TARGET!!!I agree. He may have put the NSA program issue to rest with that one statement. He ended up by saying(close paraphrase) "they ought to go out and say 'Vote for me, I promise not to use a program of surveillance of terrorists in the fight against terror.'"
