Now the vehicle I drive, I'm not going to identify it, but is somewhere on that list. (laughing) I love being honored this way: having one of the meanest cars in terms of its environmental impact, knowing full well how that irritates the socialist environmentalist wackos. I just love it. Well Rush has said a number of times that he doesn't drive an SUV, I think he's probably too big for a Lamborghini or Ferrari, so that leaves the Maybach or the Bentley. My guess is that he probably has one of each.

if every house was just using one or two of these lightbulbs it would have the equivalent of taking eight million cars off the road every day. I figure enough people will do this that I won't have to sacrifice on either side. I am not seeing a connection between an internal combustion engine and an incandescent light bulb. Help? How does changing electric light bulbs equate to petrol vehicles?

Maybach. He always talks about the chairs in the car. He uses the word chair. If you sat in a Maybach, chair would come to mind.

A few years ago on his 15th anniversary he had pictures of his house up on the website and it showed a car in the garage, it had the lines of a big Mercedes, so that would be the Maybach. But last year he was also talking about all the fun he was having driving his new car. Although, I'm sure he has more than one.

If I had Rush's money I'd have both. However, the Maybach is generally driven by a chauffeur, while the Bentley is more likely to be driven by the owner.

He has said his car weighs about 6,000 lbs and has dual turbos. At the time the Maybach 62 was what I thought was the only thing that matched both criteria, but the 57-S may have dual Turbos? The dual turbo Bentley came later, but that doesn't mean he didn't get an early model.
To: wagglebee
the 62 is the chaffeur one, the 57 is the "drivers" Maybach.

I loved his comment about flying over to Altantis for dinner on Saturday. Very cool.

some magazine did a "content strip" of an S600 versus the Maybach - the extra $160K price difference is simply not warranted, was their conclusion.
To: satchmodog9
Rush admitted getting the Maybach when they were first introduced in the USA.
