1) methinks they got the results mixed up since the liberals are the ones whining and insecure.

Savage was talking about this. flawed study, other way around. gave the guy a good ripping.
"The whiny kids tended to grow up conservative, and turned into rigid young adults who hewed closely to traditional gender roles and were uncomfortable with ambiguity.
"The confident kids turned out liberal and were still hanging loose, turning into bright, non-conforming adults with wide interests. The girls were still outgoing, but the young men tended to turn a little introspective."

A buddy of mine read this and observed that if this was thrue then his kids were in no danger of becoming liberals.
I see most of the people here did not click the link. This article is attacking the premise of the original study.
I'm glad at least one other person noted that.
