It's par for the course.

What's alarming is the arrogance of not even being CAREFUL in what is put in writing. These cretins are VERY confident that their views are SHARED, hence little threat in putting it in writing.

I voted for Bush. If given the same choice again, I'd still vote for Bush, however he does puzzle me at times - borders and illegal immigration - and his lack of action disturb me. Going to war with Iraq was and is the right course to take.

It's shocking.

Info about John Green:

As a supervising producer at Good Morning America (GMA), Green is the on-site manager; the person who makes sure the crews, cameras, and editorial information are ready by air time. His job has taken him to every state and around the world—numerous times. He's arranged interviews with world dignitaries and international stars. Still, his favorite stories to produce are those that involve real people, because they have the power to change lives.

Bush is fighting a global war but he and his foreign policy and defense team are dancing barefoot on razor blades to keep it from turning into a true World War.  The "them" in that us against them is a disturbingly large number of totalitarian (and wealthy) Islamic regimes and they would certainly be aided by all of the failed and failing socialist states out there.  I'm not sure we could prevail short of unleashing a war that would destroy who we are, even if we survived it.

If he thinks he has to ignore the border issue with Mexico as a tactical maneuver in that struggle I'm willing to give him the benefit.  He's got just a tad more information available to him than I have.  Personally I think he's already failed and that his move aligning with India was a tacit admission of that.  It certainly was a very big gamble and laid down the gauntlet to nations like Pakistan.  There are alternatives to being alligned with us against the Jihadis, but the "moderate" Muslim states may not like them.  The UAE debacle was a significant set back for the Bush/Powell/Rice doctrine in this regard.

Prepare for the worst.  (Did you get rid of all of your Y2K stash?  If not that's a good thing)

Interestingly, the term "cretin" was used by the Romans to describe Swiss who suffered from Iodine deficiency (due to poor soil) (hypothyroidism) and thus suffered from a lack of physical and mental development.

In other words, they were impish retards. Sounds about right.

(Just a factoid I learned today that I thought I'd pass on.)
