It is insanity that our government refuses to round up these criminals who are demanding special perks and the right to break our laws.
Was the count wrong in proportions similar to the Million Marching Moron's? About 300?
There's alot of Americans on the welfare rolls that can work those jobs, legally.
How many of the "Latinos" are there legally? As usual, there's no differentiation. It's the people that came into our country through other than a Port of Entry that are the problem.
he next thing you know the hosue burglars will be marching against discriminatory locks and alarms. These country burglars have no shame or claim.
I own my own business but I wonder how many employers would let their people off to rally FOR enforcement of immigration laws?
90 businesses on the south side closed....
Milwaukee is still quite segregated. Those businesses were in the Latino part of town. They shut down their own part of the city! Out here in the whiter 'burbs, nothing happened. We just saw on our TVs that there was a protest over lunch.
Not a very effective protest if you ask me.
And the beat goes on......
Exactly right. Calling it "A Day Without Latinos" is a slam against Latinos who are here fair and square.
"A Day Without Illegals" just wouldn't have had the same effect.
A few years after 9/11, and mass lawlessness in the streets is tolerated by the federal and state governments?
And as far as illegal aliens having the right to protest, I guess that means the Chinese Army could come onshore and protest against any attempt to repel their invasion. I mean, wouldn't that be discrimination as well?
If you buy Juan's definition of discrimination, it's discriminatory to have a country.
Just think...these are Mr. Bush's future "guest workers"!

... The Milwaukee Common Council also added its voice to the immigration debate this morning, by condemning legislation to criminalize illegal immigration.
Aldermen voted, 11-1, to oppose a congressional bill that would set tough penalties for illegal immigrants and those who aid them. ...

Gotta love Milwaukee politics -- heaven forbid anyone criminilize illegal activity.
It was cold and windy today in Milwaukee, too bad it wasn't raining too. The police had to divert manpower to this march for illegals while also searching elsewhere for two missing boys.
Man! There are almost as many Mexican flags in that picture as I see here in San Diego on Mexican Independence Day! At least we know where the "Latinos" are from. The UN flag in the foreground adds the "humanitarian" touch.
Arrest the criminal invaders, AND their Quisling bosses.
