Saturday, March 18th, the local chapter of Protest Warrior, FReepers and various other friends and allies took on our arch enemies here in Louisville again for the first time in many, many months. The old hippies of the Local contingent of Leftist Lunkheads, LLL (aka LPAC), were up to their usual nonsense.
Opportunists that they are, they had jumped on board the "Third Anniversary of the War in Iraq" protest wagon by scheduling a demonstration in the east end of Louisville (the more Conservative end of town, by the way). They used the number of our fallen heroes who have given their all for our freedom and security as the cornerstone of their protest.
In a bizarre choice of symbols, they determined that this number was best symbolized as t-shirts -- one for each fallen hero. So, they littered the sides of Hurstbourne Lane with clotheslines full of t-shirts. The busy intersection of Hurstbourne Lane and Taylorsville Road here in Louisville, Kentucky took on the look and feel of angry old hippies who had come out to hang up their laundry to dry. Surreal doesn't begin to describe the scene -- laundry day in a camp of indigent hoboes probably comes closest...

Great report. Thank you for being there.
G R E A T Job Folks....Thanks.
If you want on or off this PING list, FReepmail me.
WOOOHOOOO!
I regret that I didn't stop. I guess I was angry at the jerk with the sign that said "Vietnem Veteran Against Bush's War", who was about 30 years old (you do the math). I did get a few reactions when I stopped to turn on to Taylorsville Road and they saw my "W Still the President" sticker on my side window.
I love FReeping...
One big FReep family.
Have you seen the Prayer Thread for Gavin, Cindy-True-Supporter's son who was seriously injured in Texas? C-T-S is from Maryland and a Texas FReeper stopped by the hospital to see if they could be of any help. The Texas FReeper also brought a copy of the Prayer Thread since C-T-S does not have access to a computer.
Now that sticking together in a FReeper way.

Fantastic FReep! BTTT
Thanks for the ping Blue.
If we "ignore" them, they won't go away. We have to make them go away.
Thank you all again, for giving up your day to do this.
Thank you for being there defending our country and our troops!
Did you end up with over 25 people? Is that why they made you move? Did the LLL's have a permit that you could look at?
Way to go, Bluegrass FReepers! Looks like I'll be doing a little "stealin'," too. That "Kentucky Signage" is right on target!
I read your great report, checked out conservachick's blog which was awesome and then forgot to come back and post a comment. duh.
My favorite photo (other than the ones of Patriots) was the laundry the moonbats hung on clotheslines. There is no way someone just driving by would understand the "symbolism". They looked like a bunch of forlorn street vendors.
Great job. Thank you all for turning out.
