Actually, I agree with you. This has not been as much of a problem out here, or in the southern states as much as it's happened in the NE areas. I will say one thing, this kind of behavior is not supported in Colorado. Republicans would defect in droves were this going on.
Republicans everywhere have to get better control on our party, and demand accountability and responsibility from our candidates, even office holders.
Libs talk about how they'll demand Hillary stay true to their beliefs or else they won't vote for her. Their past actions regarding her husband makes me highly doubtful.
Actually, this kind of behavior is supported in Colorado - remember Salazar? We're stuck with him for the next 6 yrs because Republicans either stayed home or crossed over - bought the moderate Democrat line hook line and sinker.
Even if you don't like the Repub candidate, more damage is always done by sitting out or crossing over. I'm not sure what the answer is other than more people need to get involved and vote in the primaries and not wait for the general election.
