Correct. I think one of the big shocks of 2004 for the Dems was that these groups worked overtime and yet it still wasn't enough to defeat Bush. It scared them that they weren't as strong as they believed they were.
Agreed, although Big Shock may not be strong enough. Here, the Democrats were in a meltdown of disbelief. They are still not over it and the conspiracy theories are cropping up, again.
