"My whole problem with this case is that it's kind of held an entire country hostage. I just don't believe one person missing should hold an entire country hostage." According to this same bunch this morning, the country of Aruba has decriminalized at least some of the drugs that are illegal in this country. Apparently parents don't know about this. Or do they, and they send their kids down there anyway? In any case, it's no wonder why Aruba is such a draw. And yeah, I can hold that against them.

I'm glad I slept late.
Right now they are discussing the money spent on proms and sweet 16 parties.
Oh, lucky me. I still get to hear Natalie's uncle.
I guess this is a sign I should go make my husband some breakfast. LOL!

It's a real shame...I can't stand to watch Fox and Friends on the weekend...its a real Jekyll/Hyde thing..such a conservative friendly program most of the time but the weekends are unwatchable for me....

Jullian Phillips is a racist, and should be called on it.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
I'm beginning to think Fox is determined to cram Julian Phillips down viewers throats even though their ratings must take a nose dive on the weekends. He's the type that would sue and claim discrimination if he got the axe.
The guy repulses me and I refuse to watch anytime he's on. WAKE UP, FOX!

I didn't catch the full exchange, but did catch Philips saying that too much (media) attention had been paid to this one case when there are many other missing person cases that go unnoticed.
I have to agree with him.
Later in an interview with Natalee's uncle, Huddy asked why this case had 'caught the Nation's attention' so much.
[My immediate response was 'slow news day and pitbulls like Greta grabbed on and won't let it go'. The case became known just about the time the Scot Peterson case was being adjudicated, and Greta needed new material. Again, I have to side with Philips -- how many others have disappeared (even since Natalee did) and have received only scant, if any, media notice? I can't help but think Natalee may have been kidnapped and sold into white slavery, since there appears to be little indication of her being killed. Aruba apparently has a history of being connected with white slavery traders.]

Just, 'darn'.
I was hoping that Rebbecca Gomez would be back today so the subject could go back to big boobs like yesterday. And like yesterday Julian could stare at her t*ts throughout the show.

Come on. This is as real as wrestling on TV. The producers told the weekend crew to mix it up or your job is on the line in this low rated show. You can tell what kind of money a TV show is making by the kinds of advertisements it carries.

The article doesn't mention the critical issue with Huddy. Did she wear the fishnets?

I turn on Fox & Friends everyweekend just in case Julian Phillips is not on the show. So far, that means I change channels within 30 seconds. Even Juliet Huddy being on can't convince me to watch.
So, I didn't see any of this exchange. But it doesn't surprise me, because it sounds like Julian Phillips being Julian Phillips. When Neal Gabler starts making guest appearances, the end will be near.

Thanks for the ping. Could you post their pictures in the future? Because other than Julian, I don't remember who is who of those women without looking it up.

Huddy and mike Jerrick were the best. Just those two on the weekends would be just fine. Instead Fox has to play a little race card themselves in their racial quota system.

There is a GIANT difference in the two stories. One, you have a NYC murder, common as stardust. Every week there are several fictional ones on TV. Second, you have a high school kid go on a class trip to a vacation "paradise" for many Americans then goes missing.
Most New Yorkers do not pay much attention to crime stories, but every parent in America had to think about the other story.
