Russia's information regarding the Chechens is foggy at best. If memory serves, the FSB was caught planting bombs in Russian apartment buildings to be blamed on the Chechens. How can you trust Russia's information on the Chechens if they are willing to engage in terrorism against their own people in the name of the Chechens. I'm not saying the Chechen terrorism isn't real. But I am saying that Russia has discredited itself in one of the only areas where they could have enjoyed a modicum of credibility.
