When I see those pummeled neighboring buildings, I wonder what it must have been like for people in them. Is anyone aware of any anecdotes from people who were in buildings that had debris raining down on them?

A friend's son worked in Building 7 and had to dodge falling bodies as he escaped his building.

The word trauma doesn't begin to cover what the people involved in that day experienced.

And to know that it was the NYSlimes who sued to obtain the recordings that are now being played on TV and radio of the frantic calls of trapped people......there really are no words for my hatred of the media.

I consider them too, enemies of our country.

Maybe we should ask the "controlled demolition" conspiracy theory expert Charlie Sheen.

Dan, this is one of the reasons I wrote my novel, "September Day," as I wanted people to not only not forget, but to give an insight into what it must have been like inside:

My mother's friend's son worked in WTC 7. He was on the phone with his mom that morning and told her "I have to get off the phone - there are people falling past my window".

Yes, I've read several books about that day. The best, in my opinion is '108 Minutes."

Anyway, to your question: As I recall there was a hotel in the trade center complex. When debris fell, essentially cut the hotel lobby in half. Some people were trapped on the other side of the debris and died when the towers collapsed.

I worked at Aon Corporation, in Chicago. We had offices in the second tower, the one with the antenna. Our offices were from 94 to 101. On September 11th, I came to work and picked up the phone from one of our executives who was stuck on the Brooklyn Bridge. He told me what happened and started crying and sobbing. The next call was from my husband, who told me that we were under attack and to come home.

From September 11th until February 15, 2002 (my departure date from Aon), I worked only on 9/11 activities. Answering phone calls from family members. Condolence letters. Thank you notes.

The worst was Christmas 2001 when people called and cried on the phone. I cried too.

I will never, ever forget. Everything I ever need to know about the death cult islam I learned on September 11th.

I knew a woman who worked in our offices in the WTC. Our offices were in the second tower that was hit. After the plane hit the first building, everyone was evacuated from the second building. When they reached the street level, they were sent back up to the office because the police & fire fighters were afraid the people would get hit with debris and they didn't want anyone to see the bodies falling.

The lady I knew refused to go back up because she had lived through the first bombing in 1993 (rot in hell, bill clinton) and was terrified. Her co-workers were herded back inside and begged her to come with them. She refused and went into the park. Eventually, she made her way home.

Her co-workers were never seen again.

My co-worker told me this story when she called around Christmas, 2001. Many people who did survive have experienced severe mental problems.

I will never forget. I have a ball of hatred inside my heart for the scumbag arabs, and it burns brighter every day.

My oldest was in one of those, on the east. He was knocked out of his chair when the first plane hit. He called me on his cell from street level and was describing the scene when the second one hit. He was standing directly under the ball of flame that punched through the east side of 2WTC. I was watching live coverage, saw the explosion, knew where he was standing (I was in almost the exact spot in 1993). He dropped his phone and ran. It was three hours before I heard from him again.
