Well you don't write like you have a head in an overstuffed attic :-)

I love to read too; it's my favorite hobby, even before FR. Sadly, it seems a lot of today's writers have the same capacity for good writing as Hollywood has for making interesting movies. That is to say, very little.

So I've been re-reading some older books and loving them.

Many of today's novelists seem to deliberately target their stories for the big screen.

Me, too! I even found some old (35 years or so) Mary Stewart books and enjoyed every one of them.
