SAUDIA ARABIA SECRETLY WORKING WITH PAK EXPERTS (ON NUCLEAR PROGRAM!)
Express India ^ | 3/29/06

BERLIN, MARCH 29 : Saudi Arabia is working secretly on a nuclear programme, with help from Pakistani experts, the German magazine Cicero reports in its latest edition, citing western security sources.

It says that during the Haj pilgrimages to Mecca in 2003 through 2005, Pakistani scientists posed as pilgrims to come to Saudi Arabia in aircraft laid on by the oil-rich kingdom.

Between October 2004 and January 2005, some of them took the opportunity to "disappear" from their hotel rooms, sometimes for up to three weeks, it quoted German security expert Udo Ulfkotte as saying.

According to western security services, the magazine added, Saudi scientists have been working since the mid-1990s in Pakistan, a nuclear power since 1998 thanks to the work of the now-disgraced Pakistani scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan.

If this happens, it's going to get very *bumpy* for Israel.

There has been talk for a couple of decades of an "Arab" bomb, which was to be developed and built in Pakistan and financed by Saudi Arabia.

The Saudis have poured a lot of money into Pakistan over the years, to finance the war against the Soviet Union, to build Madrassahs teaching little children Wahabbi extremism and terrorism, and perhaps also to finance nuclear research.

These stories--not openly proven, of course, were circulating back as far as the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

don't be worrying none....

ultimately its that same thread that binds them. universally. we all know they will live and DIE readily for that thread.
when someone says there will be an islamic bomb? in my mind its already happened, that collectively, they have pooled resources. iran is just the first gopher to stick his head up and get randy about it.

Or perhaps the distraction from the real program?

oh but the leaders of countries like Iran and Saudi Arabia have said that nuclear weapons are "unislamic" and such things are banned by the Koran.

Could they be lying? GASP!!!!

Your bias is misguided. The Saudi's fear Iran, not Israel.

Better find a better source. There is no love between Iran and the Saudis.

I agree with you that the Saudis are more worried about Iran than Israel. Israel has had nukes for ages, and has never used them. Iran is only too likely to use them.

The trouble is, the Saudis have a bad habit of helping terrorists. There are an enormous number of princes in the House of Saud, and not all of them are on the same page. There's a real risk they will pass on technology or actual weapons to people who will use them.

Point taken. The Saudis hate Israelis more than they hate the Irainains.

IF thats the case, the thred needs to be broken.

now

waiting any longer only insures their accumulation of more advantage, accordingly a prolonged confrontation and clean up.

whose problem is it? israels, europes and then everyone elses.

who has the capacity to remedy it?
