The more we hear from her, the more it's apparent what her ambitions are who her devotions are to.

I don't know how she squares "being treated well" with "watching her translator get murdered in cold blood by her kidnappers".

Well lots of people are ambitious. In America, it's more of a virtue than a sin.

Having watched her post release interview several times, I have to wonder why she was crying and begging the coalition to submit to the terrorists' demands?  She says she wasn't beaten, tortured, threatened and was otherwise treated quite well.

What gives?

Despite her language skills, Carroll used an Iraqi translator the day she was kidnapped. The abduction took place when the translator and Carroll were heading to meet Adnan al-Dulaimi, head of the Sunni Arab Iraqi Accordance Front.

Hmmm -- I wonder what happened to the translator. I guess it isn't important or the great journalists at the AP would have mentioned it.

My favorite part of this absurd tail was after she was captured and her poor family was trying to show what a sweet heart she was sent out a tape showing her under a scarf, another scene she was helping arab children, in another (this is what cracked me up) she was at a family celebration and she was waiving and saying "Merry Christmas" - which was probably a big hit in the muslim world.

Take a look over at DU and see what the kids in their momies basement have to say. What a sick bunch. They are truly delusional and out of touch with reality.

And I do wonder if ransom was paid, and that was the original intent of the entire scheme.
