I would think that Christmas, Good Friday and Easter would all be bigger than May Day in Mexico.

Christmas, certainly. Easter, maybe, more a day of worship with some celebration.

It's not ''May Day'', btw. Cinco de Mayo is the celebration of the victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla.
