You gave me an idea,

If your Income Tax exceeds 50% that would mean that the Government has controlling interest in your Income, what would happen if you made your Employer send 100% to the Government and then ask the Government to send you your cut?

They can't find 3 IRS assclowns to agree on anything now, it would be easy to find a few "expert" witnesses and SUE them.

Just a really weird hypothetical, and it is obvious that I didn't put a whole bunch of gray matter to task.

Ah, but you wouldn't want to do that. The way it is now the states send the feds their cut and then the feds say they can have some of it back IF they do stuff the feds want. They would do the same with your income. Instead of getting your 50% back it would have conditions on it that would actually lower your take to, say, 25%. You know, it takes a lot of money for the feds to handle our money.
