Not justifying what the minister did (he has no business in that job) but it says the kid knocked his glasses off, i.e., was aiming to hit him smack in the face despite glasses.
He had already tried to do it once before and probably got warned. (just a guess)
The kid probably deserved a little bit of a whuppin.
Speaking as someone whose kid had a front tooth broken by just such a bully during a dodgeball game - you are not supposed to hit someone in the face with all your might, espcially a younger kid or someone with glasses.
I didn't kick the kid who did it to my son, but got no satisfaction from the parents for over a thousand dollars worth of dental bills.
Good attempt at spin, but the facts get in your way. The kid couldn't even hit the guy with the first throw (probably a 10 to 12 square foot target), but you think we will fall for your made up story that his accuracy instantly improved until he could hit a target of a few square inches?
Getting kicked in the nuts is a good way to lose one. I read about a teen boy who cupped another kid, and it twisted and had to be removed.
