This is just, saddly, the logical path from the Roe v. Wade ruling. Once they successfully labeled the child a "blob" of tissue that can be exterminated, then people become immune to what happens to children. People don't care anymore....if life can be ripped apart while inside the protective womb of the mother because it is a burden, then why not abandon a child if it becomes a burden? They are already angling to eradicate the elderly, for what....being a burden on society.
This is the path this nation has chosen to walk. If this keeps up, God is going to have apologize to Sodom and Gommorah.

It's far deeper than Roe - either Human life is intrinsically and wonderfully valuable on its own - because it was created by God - or it's disposable and we see these stories. There was one of these not long ago in NY - it was a step dad who dropped her off after killing her mom.
