I started grade school in the mid seventies. We always said the Pledge.
I know you are smarter then this but I'll explain it for the rest of the class...
Mexico never kicked anyone's ass in a war, The Star and Stripes has been carried into battle by ass kicking Americans since the days of the revolutionary war.
Why just the sight of American soldiers under arms and wearing the Star and Stripes on sleeves of their uniforms is enough to make the average illegal wet themselves.
Therefore to prevent ultra-violent Mexican gangs from having spaz attacks and sporadic fits of rage, Americans have to hide the symbol of our benign dominance over lesser nations and those peoples that don't want anything from us but a free ride.
A REAL immigrant. Not one of those pretend, suck on the Americans teat and send all my money to my home country.
Enough is enough!!

If the illegals love Mexico and their flag so much, then let them get their butts back to Mexico, take their Christmas colors with them and don't let the door hit them in the butt on the way out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fact is that the illegals see this as an extension of Mexico and we saw tens of thousands of them in LA waving the Mexican flag. Reconquista? Last week Drudge had a Hispanic on his 50 state radio broadcast that talked about taking back the U.S. "a few houses and a few blocks at a time." By the way, I recently posted a famous quote that is relevant to this. For any who missed it I'd be glad to cite it again.
Upon reading the article it appears they address your concern.
It says something about how if it was someone else waiving the Mexican flag at other students they would have the same issue with it.
It sounds like the kid is a little punk who's not aruging against illegal immigration but just flaunting the American flag at anyone who is hispanic.
