How does one organize a protest. I have no idea. I don't have those "special" connections those folks did. Just my FRiends.
The protests you saw last week...from what I have heard, were organized by a lot of influential groups, LaRaza being one of them...
And they got the Spanish language TV stations and radio stations to promote the heck out of this...and encourage the kids to walk out of school.
I know in the Dallas/FtWorth area, something like 5 of the top 10 radio stations are Spanish stations...
