Walmarts in my area suck big time. Employees are bitter (for whatever reason, I think part of it is the fact that they are bitter they have to work instead of collecting a welfare check)and hateful towards customers. People need to start supporting their small town local businesses and give Walmart the finger.
That hasn't been my experience, at least in the Sporting Goods departments. Some are better than others of course, but if you get a retired military guy working, you can end up with a guy who really knows his stuff. Even in Yuppie Plano, the lady who sold me some Blazer ammo was polite and knew her products. I got the opportunity to go shoot unexpectedly, I had my carry pistol with me, and two spare magazines, but no ammo other than the HPs in the magazines. I already had a 500 round case of FMJ at home, plus a few odd boxes here and there of different brands. In the event I broke the gun after only 29 rounds. Trigger spring and pin, parts already ordered from the factory. Fortunately I've still got my 1911A1 "Backup". :). It's loaded with 230 grn Golden Saber, vs. the 200 grn Hydroshocks in the other one.
