I have been looking for gun shows to go to in my area. Can you give any tips on where to find gun shows?
Don't know where you're at, but the American Rifleman NRA magazine lists gun shows every month. Beware, not all gun shows are created equally. Most I've been to have good eals on amm and lots of other stuff, but usually overprice guns.

They no longer have free ads for gun shows in the print magazine, but the link has shows from all around the country. Not quite all of them, because the show sponsers still have to put up their shows, but most of them.
Since you appear to be in Texas, I can mention several shows. The big show in Dallas is approximately quarterly in Market Hall (Dallas Arms Collectors, IIRC) , which is near I-35E and the Tollway. San Antonio has a Saxet show the first weekend of every month, at the Airport Convention center, just north of 410 on Broadway. Austin has a Saxet show the 3rd weekend of every month. There are other Dallas-Ft.Worth area shows, including one in the Will Rodgers Center in Ft. Worth. Houston I'm not so familiar with, but here's a link that looks promising for Texas gun shows.
