Smugglers welcome tighter borders (barfer)

DOLORES HIDALGO, Mexico (AP) -- Barely 18, Jose belongs to Mexico's new generation of migrant smugglers -- young, savvy and happy to see Uncle Sam further tighten border security.

Why? It's good for business, he says.

Jose figures more migrants will seek his help if the U.S. Senate approves legislation to double the Border Patrol and put up a virtual wall of unmanned vehicles, cameras and sensors to monitor the 2,000-mile border with Mexico.

Cases are coming to light of smugglers making $1 million or more. And Jose reckons the earnings will rise yet higher if new obstacles go up.

"This is never going to end," he said. "The United States cannot work without Mexicans."

This is the same crap as "terrorists love the unprovoked aggressive war against the Iraqi people." Another demented attempt by the MSM cheerleaders to sway the "undecided."

Lack of internal enforcement helps the smuggler's business model. Some months ago an illegal was found stuck in an elevator in Harlem. ICE refused to process/deport him even though he admitted paying $60K to be smuggled from China. Now his smuggler can tell future clients - "once I get you there you stay!"

A wall of unmanned vehicles? Would those be the stolen vehicles that smugglers drove until they were rendered useless?

Frankly I don't care if the smugglers have to charge more. That means it's harder to get in and fewer will be able to afford the risk.

It's pretty bad that the idiots are now using the same line as the pro illegal businessmen.
