The debate is so structured, Horowitz has to wait to respond. Churchill is trying to sound "professorial" while Horowitz is more conversational. The crowd is definately more pro-Churchill.
Churchill is not even addressing university level teaching. I guess his point is that none of this existence is actually real and therefore there can be no scholarly education.
I don't know about it being more pro-Churchill. I think his group is just louder and hoots and hollers more.
Yes, they were given too much time for their opening statements. I think they are going to open it up to to crown for questions.
