There are compromises and evil compromises, and in my view what happened in the Senate today falls in the latter.
All because they fear the word "deport" so much, and fear the Hispanic vote even more. Between the wealthy political donors in favor of open borders, and the "social consciences" of America, there's little hope this Congress can act, and less that the President would lift a finger to improve the situation.
