Congressman Tom Price (R- from GA) is trying to pass a bill that would require that ANY additions to bills have a "credit" line added- so we don't have to do ridiculous research to find out who adds the pork and crud.

I say it is a GREAT idea.. if you want to add things- you should have the balls to put your name on it!

And then, to make matters worse, the Democrats won't allow any amendments to the bill - so that everything in it has to stay as written.

That's why the "key test vote in the Senate" failed today.

The (R)'s finally got a spine and realized that passing this thing without attachments was the most dangerous thing that could happen.

But we aren't hearing why the vote failed. Apparently, the Republicans don't have THAT much spine.

That would be Senator Kennedy's staff. They slipped all kinds of nasty things into the "compromise" bill behind the back of Hagel and Martinez.
