as the Indian Christian SOLDIEROFCHRIST says over and over and over and over again.

SOLDIEROFCHRIST is a pathetic liar (probably a Paki not Indian). Try true "Indian" Christians like
voice of india, sukhoi-30mki and An_Indian .

1. Gengis Khan never invaded India. Babur was the Turk-Mongol invader who conquered Northern India.
Then I wonder why so many Pakistanis have the name of KHAN. I guess it was from Karl Khan, a visitor from Cincinnati.

2. Gengis Khan was not a Muslim. On the contrary he devastated Islamic Empires from Bukhara (Khawrazmia) to Baghdad (Khalif).
I know he wasn't but he killed so many people in that area that was part of India....and for you, a Hindu, to have that name is absurd. Why take the name of a historical MONSTER?

3. The name "Khan" is neither Pakistan nor India (assuming you consider India and Pakistan as culturally different)......... Its Turkish. Gengis Khan was called Gengis Khan or Jengihz Khan by the Turks his worst enemy. Gengis Khan's real name is Yesuhgei. Indians and Pakistanis call him Changez Khan or Jungez Khan.
Well, I know that too, but he WAS known by those he murdered in the area of India and Pakistan as the great KHAN and those folks DID take THAT name. Thus, you have the name of the Great Monster/Murderer of your own people.

BTW any famous Bengali Hindu you know of ? And please dont tell me "Nirad Chaudhari".
Since I wrote ONLY about the Bengali language and music, I assumed you would figure out that the Bengali language and music was what I was talking about. I only heard of them through those media. But, perhaps the chip on your shoulder clouds your thinking. Your emotions tend to do that to you....so different from the REAL Khan you named yourself after.

In any case being a pro-Hindu on this forum is almost as bad as being a pro-Muslim.
I wonder where you got that idea? Who would been spiteful or stupid enough to put that into your head?
What Americans know about Hinduism would fit into a teaspoon. Hard to hate something one doesn't know -- unless one has only prejudice and bigotry in his mind heart.

Preach your babble to SOLDIEROFCHRIST, an Indian Christian. He's currently living the persecution of Christians in India.

yes, he is living the persecution, thats why he is able to log on to internet, participate here and freely voice his views! thats what is persecution! lol!

now that u equated pakistan and india, lets see if we have any christians here from pakistan to tell u what they are going thru.

Had the persecution of Christians in India been something real and not the usual propagandist tripe, to slander the "pagan, demon-worshipping heathens" Hindus, (sounds so much like the "dirty Kafir dogs" we get to hear from the ROP)......comming from propagandist news websites like World Net Daily, Bos News Life, Asia News, Compass Direct, Christianpersecution.org and the scores of other BS news sites where they sniff for the slighest fistcuff to raise the "persecution" bogey.

............. you would have seen Christians packing their bags and leaving India for places safer for Christians.
BTW the de-facto Prime Minister of India is a Christian women.

and the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajsekhar Reddy, (Hyderabad, which pres. Bush visited in his India trip this year, is the capital of Andhra Pradesh!) is also a christian. yes. christians are persecuted in India, thats why we have Sonia Gandhi in the highest level of government and other chief ministers heading important states like AP, kerala. all these leaders were democratically elected. if there was persecution and hatred of christians, why would the people, majority of them Hindus, elect them??

You included, since your only source of "reliable" info happens to be "SOLDIEROFCHRIST".

His rhetoric is emotional too. You notice that I don't respond to him. But, I don't denigrade him either.

You probably won't hear from Christians in Pakistan. There are SO few and they probably can't get the FR over there. They wouldn't post anything anti-Muslim over there, if they know what's good for them.
But then, the Dutch censor the Free Republic too. The Internet Nanny won't allow freerepublic.com on their wi-fi Internet in Amsterdam. I was there last year and experienced the Internet Nanny for the first time....trying to log on to the fr over there. No can do. Dutch version of "free speech." < / sarcasm >

Why they (Christians) persist in living as such a tiny, rather oppressed minority makes me wonder.
At least being 1% of the population in India means MILLIONS and MILLIONS. Not so in Pakistan. That doesn't mean that it's any less unpleasant, does it?

I blame no one and everyone. Bigotry, racism and other forms of elitism (caste, money, education, you name it) exist everywhere and at all levels of all societies. That means that no one group has the higher moral ground than another. But, I guess it IS a mortal insult to call you a Muslim. That shows the lacuna in your character.
Lol. I get MILDLY insulted if someone calls me a liberal JUST because I live in San Francisco. All kinds of prejudging exists SIMPLY because of where I happen to be born. I know it comes from THEIR ignorance and personal chip-on-shoulder, not mine. Thin skin is part of human nature....especially the one-way kind.

By the way, I did visit India, for a month, a long time ago. I worked with many, many Indians and Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia. (I was there five years.) They were the clerical force in Saudi ARAMCO. They were LEGION! The Pakistanis were, of course, almost all Muslims.
I did meet a Christian....Church of England. His father had been born a Muslim in India (Delhi) but converted to the Church of England as an adult. The family moved to Pakistan in 1947. The Muslim-Hindu carnage was eye-witnessed by them. They carried Bibles and wore crucifixes so both sides would clearly see them as Christians. One daughter of the father still lives in Pakistan. Her husband is a big-shot in a bank. They are wealthy, but husband can't, by law, get TOO high a position in the English bank where he works.
The Indians generally were Christians, almost all Catholics, from southern India.

There was the odd Muslim Indian, usually NOT with Saudi Aramco, but with close ties to the Aramcons, travel agents, car rentals, tourism, etc.
Saudi ARAMCO would allow NO Hindus. (Bahrain does, and Sikhs too). They weren't "people of The Book." Yes, the Saudi government--not Saudi ARAMCO, the petroleum/gas industry--hires the occasion AMERICAN Jew. Expertise, especially females in the medical profession, was/is needed. Jews, of course, are the original "people of The Book." No Buddhists, Sikhs, Farsees, animists or Jainists are hired either--not "of the Book." No Mormons either, unless they pretended NOT to be Mormons, which a good Mormon wouldn't do.

I only met Hindus when I went to India. I teach yoga and therefore learned about yoga....therefore about Hinduism, therefore about India. They are inexorably intertwined. Even Indian Christians and Muslims know as much about Hinduism as the Hindus--it's that much a part of the Indian culture the religion is.

My goodness, you are full of hatred, anger, bitterness and angst. Must be your legacy from the Mongolian Monster....after whom you named yourself. As Shakespeare once wrote: "To thine own self be true." You got it!
IGNORE BUTTON =============== (finally) ON.

Actually, I forgot. I've met numerous Hindus here in California. There is quite a large group of Hindu immigrants in the Central Valley, San Jose and the Peninsula--that is, Silicon Valley, where many Hindus work in the computer industry.

They are, of course, immigrants and RATHER different. They CHOSE to come here and be Americans. I would NATURALLY be predisposed to like them, not because they are Hindus, but because they chose to be Americans and HAPPEN to be Hindus.
