Kerry Lashes Out At Bush
(AP) NEW YORK A defiant Sen. John Kerry on Friday lashed out sharply against President Bush and his team of advisers, calling them "the Katrina Administration" and "the most incompetent people I've ever seen."
The Massachusetts Democrat and 2004 presidential nominee also suggested Republicans hope to scuttle comprehensive immigration legislation pending in the U.S. Senate in order to prevent immigrants from becoming voters.
Kerry made the remarks via teleconference at a breakfast gathering of the National Action Network, an advocacy group founded by the Rev. Al Sharpton, who competed against Kerry in the 2004 Democratic presidential primaries. Kerry had been expected to attend the breakfast in person but canceled because of votes on the immigration legislation in Washington.
Criticizing a bill passed in the U.S. House late last year that would criminalize illegal immigrants and those who offer them assistance, Kerry echoed controversial comments made by Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton last month where she said the legislation would penalize "even Jesus himself."
"Jesus reached out to the poor, the sick, the prisoners and the lame," Kerry said. "The notion that people in the church who help people who are here illegally would somehow be criminalized would be to say they can't even walk in the footsteps of the teachings of the scriptures."

The most incompetent people he's ever seen? Did he always keep his eyes closed when meeting with his campaign staff in 2004?
Keep talkin' you moonbats. Keep talkin'.
Everyday in everyway they make fools of themselves.
kerry-boy, aren't you the one who shot yourself in the butt!!!
"the most incompetent people I've ever seen."
With the exception of John Kerry himself since Bush handed him his arse in the election.
Unbelievable...and we are at war to boot.
The MSM are playing that segment of the right like puppets regarding the immigration issue.
Of course there is an immigration problem (a 40 year in the making problem)....but that some on the right can't be intellectually honest enough to admit that the issue is big enough that "good people" can come to differing conclusions on some of the specifics for trying to fix it....is beyond me.
Well, I guess it's true - Tereeeeeza doesn't allow mirrors in the house...
Senator Kerry, you are an ass.
thats not nice at least asses serve a purose
I think that will be a blast!!!
Talk about using The Lord's name in vain!
Too bad, Kerry. Guess he never heard that illegals are not allowed to vote. Oh, forgot, since when do the RATS care.
(Denny Crane: "I Don't Want To Socialize With A Pinko Liberal Democrat Commie. Say What You Like About Republicans. We Stick To Our Convictions. Even When We Know We're Dead Wrong.")
Then explain this Johnny:
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
How DOES such a brilliant person lose to incompetents?
Obviously a rigged election, slanderous campaign, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Kerry is a silly horse's derriere. He hasn't been able to get any face time or accomplish anything as a senator since he lost the election. What a waste of skin.
seriously- what does it say about hanoi jean if he soundly loses a head-to-head election to the "most incompetent people he's even seen"????
