DHS Child Sex Sting Official Is A Democrat
Earlier today we listed some of the strong reaction to the arrest of Department of Homeland Security deputy press secretary Brian J. Doyle for attempting to arrange sexual relations with what he believed to be a 14-year-old female. Much of the reaction was critical of the Bush administration for not properly vetting one of their appointees. That assessment is dead wrong.
Brian Doyle is a career civil servant - NOT a political appointee. Government workers aren't "vetted." Doyle, as a DHS employee probably has a secret or top secret government clearance, but in DC that's hardly a unique commodity in DC. Unless there is some prior history of pedophilia or sex crimes, the background searches and investigation wouldn't have alerted anyone to the possibility that he might get into the kind of trouble he's in now. The kind of hindsight analysis suggesting that the White House should have been "vetting" the civil service employees of their agencies, is laughable considering that the Clinton administration who dogged for years over the FBI files scandal (Filegate). It's also probably illegal...
So what do we know about is Brian Doyle? He's a former Time magazine reporter, career civil servant, and a registered Democrat.
Please pass the word!
Please pass the word!
So what if he is, he is still a scumbag. IE even if his background is Repbulican.
Man, this'll be ALL OVER the news this coming week. Oh, wait, a Democrat was caught...never mind.
She didn't say he wasn't.
Why do I give a flying leap what his political affiliations are? As if there are no Republican pedophiles?
That is what I meant to say...
Good, then he can't complain about the gay sex in prison. Being an open minded RAT and all.
You won't be hearing that on the nightly news
I think the point is that the MSM was trumpeting his arrest because they believed he would be perceived by the public somehow as part of the Bush Administration and connected to the Republican "culture of corruption." Of course, a pedophile is a pedophile and I'm glad he was caught regardless.
I told friends, when this story came out, that I bet this guy is a DemoRAT, otherwise if he was a Republican, MSM would have splashed it all over the media 24-7, with a headline linking this pervert directly to G.W!
Totally agree! I dont care if the person that caught him was a commie or whatever! Hes still a dirtbag all politics aside.
In other words, he is a useless postule on the ass of the country.
I'd love to let the DUmmies know this. They had him tarred and feathered, and course, a Republican.
OMG - sick. FOFLOL - that is one good graphic.
AHHH! I didnt read the whole article. Of course the media didnt cover didnt cover that he was a democrat. But then again does it really matter?
Doyle was caught as a pervert while working at Time:
DHS Background Check Questioned
By Spencer S. Hsu
Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, April 7, 2006; Page A04
The Department of Homeland Security official arrested Tuesday on charges of seducing a minor over the Internet faced disciplinary action at his previous workplace, Time magazine's Washington bureau, for misusing company equipment to download pornography, friends and former colleagues said.
Federal officials would not ....
what's that, the definition of redundancy?
Of course they wont say a damn thing about this in the lib news media. Not that Bush doesnt have his own problems but linking this perv to republicans doesnt help either.
Republicans would do themselves a favor and use the bullypulpit to explain who this guy is and is associated with dems - in fact I think he represents democrat values pretty well.
Yes, but democrat redundancy is redundantly apparent in so may ways:
crook; pervert; liar; snake; and the list goes on.
Wanna bet that if they had known he was a democrat, this would have been overlooked by the msm? They jumped the gun, thinking bash Bush and without checking anything, started the ball rolling.
Read the criminal complaint online Florida vs. Doyle (23 counts) at:
I'm shocked! not, not, not...
In all likelihood, Time Magazine protected him by not reporting fully and accurately to DHS on the cause of his termination of employment.
For all we know, Times protecting him from the DHS inquiry may have been in exchange for leaked information at any time in the future, should the Times request it of him, or should he come across anything that the Times would want.
Or, it is equally likely that the DHS background check was lacking in diligence, which won't come as much of a surprise if that is the case. Companies queried in background checks should be profiled for their "loyalty". The less loyal a company, the more rigorous the background checks of employees leaving such companies for Federal employment. This will work well for people who are being blackballed by their former employers, as the inquiry would uncover such, and it would severely penalize any company which withholds information relevant to a DHS security inquiry regarding an application for employment with a Federal organization.
It should be illegal for a company to not disclose all information regarding a person's employment, when that person has applied for work requiring a security clearance. Isn't part of the security clearance application a waiver for just such an inquiry? If so, then the company in question has no reason to conceal negative information.
Doyle should share a cell with Scott Ritter.
He's a former Time magazine reporter, career civil servant, and a registered Democrat.
Oh, wow. Thanks for that information.
Tonight's lead story on Nightly News.
Monica Lewinsky had the same security clearance when she went over to the Pentagon.
please tell me - how do you know he is a Democrat? Just curious.
By the way, getting TSs in Washington IS hard to do. Those clearances cost a lot of money and are hard to come by.
This story will now be officially buried forever!
Paul Begala was on CNN crowing about this guy being a republican about three hours ago.
I bet someone sets him straight, and we never hear from him on this subject ever again.
...for the children.
Some were defending him on the first thread, insinuating that he might have been cleared confidential, and that his communications got spoofed. Who is calling for a top down security review? Nobody.
Former Time Magazine reporter. Interesting.
I knew that before reading it.
Not at all surprised.
Not as many. I am sure.
Welcome to IRC. Where men are men, where women are men, and where 14-year-old girls are FBI men.Amazing how true it still is.
News you won't find anywhere else. Thanks, PKM.
MSM made very deliberate attempt to infer that he was a Bush political appointee.
I'd already figured this out. Know how? Simple. The media swine never mentioned party affiliation.
