So, in which verse does Paul clarify that he's talking about evolution, here?

I'm pretty sure there is no such verse. But there are plenty of new testament warnings about people that would mock the followers of Christ. There are those who "believe" in evolution strongly enough to put a fish with feet and the word Darwin inside on their car. What is the point of this if not to mock Christians?

No record. Lone Ranger recently posted an article that was entirely devoted to evolution as Nazism.

It's easy enough to understand. It speaks for itself.

SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN has ceased to be about explaining real science

Yep. Happened several years ago, I think when they were bought. It's a trash mag now. Not worth serious scientific consideration.

Science is about telling people what makes them happy after all.

What a warped sense of reality. I bet you see conspiracies around every corner. Why did God give us these brains? To NOT use them? Why did God create the universe and have it's light hit us now from points billions of light years away? Why did God allow us the intelligence to explore the wonders of the universe?

I'm guessing that back in the day, you would have been the 1st one to string up any of the astronomers who differed from the establish Church doctrine at the time.

Really? I always though that science was about proving things in a way that others could replicate the results.

Hey!

All you God-fearing Christians out there! Forget about the Christ rising from the dead. These scientists will assure you that a 3 day dead body has millions of dead cells that cannot be restored to life. The chemical changes cannot be reversed, the organs have had it! To restore that situation would require ......su..per..nat..tur..al.. power. The same kind of power to create life on a speck of a ball in a vast universe.

To the scientific minds out there (you atheists, take a break) that claim to be Christian, yet believe in evolution:

Which is harder? Turning water into wine? killing a fig tree by talking to it? Feeding thousands with a couple of fish and a few loaves of bread? Walking on water? Raising the dead? Or creating a turnkey, ready to function, living planet in short order?

I can't do any of those things, so for me, there is no difference. Lord, I believe.

But there are plenty of new testament warnings about people that would mock the followers of Christ.

yeah, but ironically there are no warnings that the followers of Christ would murder, rape, plunder, and pillage, affecting people in great numbers, in the name if Christ.

There are those who "believe" in evolution

the scare quotes around the word believe are ironic. Perhaps it would be more accurate to say that there are those that believe the available evidence supports the theory of evolution. Where "beliefs" come into play is believing what other people tell you to believe. If no human being ever mentioned God to you, you would not believe in God. All information about God has been transmitted to you via human hands, human tongues, and human language. For example, as someone mentioned earlier, the burning bush (well, take any example). Would you believe it happened without humans telling you to believe it happened? Now, in contrast, if no body ever told you about evolution, you could still devise the theory on your own, as Darwin did. You would just need to be a perceptive, creative, open-minded, and persistent genius (that's not so hard, eh?). Amazingly, you could then sit back over the next 150 or so years and watch every piece of evidence confirm your theory.... Now, THAT is why people put a fish with feet and the word DARWIN on there car!!!

Those things were called miracles because they defied science and natural law...but generally, people who have been dead for three days tend to stay that way.

First time I've seen you on the threads, Zuriel. Have you posted on the crevo threads before?

Might I suggest you are laboring under certain misapprehensions concerning what is evolution (as defined by the scientists who study it) and what is evolution (as defined in mainstream journalism and by lay people)...

Cheers!
