How to do the figuring.

Do immigrants harm the employment prospects of native-born Americans?  If so, how serious is the harm?  Economists have analyzed these questions for the past quarter-century.  Most of the early studies concluded that the wage impact of immigration was small.  But newly available evidence is slowly breaking down this consensus.  In fact, immigration may have depressed the wages of low-skilled workers by 5 to 8 percentage points.

Good job. All of you contractors out there who are tired of getting aced out of jobs better start turning in the illegals playing contractor or contractors hiring illegals. I know this sounds NAZI like but what choice are we being given. All of the cheap skates are hiring cheap illegal labor and the county, state and feds just look the other way. As I was told by a county official...nothing gets done unless allot of people complain about something. So blitz the county for non permited projects done by illegals, blitz the state for illegals working without a license and blitz the feds ICE for suspected illegals working period.

Thanks for contacting me about immigration. All of us can agree the system is broken and needs to be fixed. Yeah right, you want those illegals to vote your way....right away....

I believe the U.S. needs a smart, realistic plan to address illegal immigration—one that protects our borders He's NEVER brought up any secure borders biull in all the years he's been in office or supported one.... and ensures that all immigrants play by the rules. To protect our borders, we need to use cutting-edge technology, including unmanned aerial vehicles. And, we need to enforce our existing laws. Why? Nelson doesn't advocate enforcing existing gun laws he only wants more gun laws We also need to create a guest worker program that provides a path to legal status for those who qualify and play by the rules and deports those who do not. Playing by the rules means paying your taxes, keeping a job, and learning English. Never have I heard a RAT utter this! I wouldn't be surprised to see him chastised by the Party for this one. That means he must be in a tight race and the odds are looking good for Katherine Harris in that case.

Thanks for sharing your concerns with me, and be assured I’ll keep them in mind as the Senate considers this issue. Yeah....right.
