I find it ironic that they show pride in the country that they risked their lives to leave - and then demand greater rights than natives.

Mexican officials work hard to make us take their overflow because they know these people would be demanding more rights there. Imagine what would happen if we did secure the borders and ship millions of illegals back home. The illegals marching in our streets today would be marching in the streets of Mexico tomorrow. They've had a taste of a better life and would demand a change in their homeland.
According to an official translation published by the Organization of American States, the Mexican constitution does not allow foreigners to participate in the political affairs of the country. That ban applies to participation in demonstrations.
In Mexico, even legal immigrants don't have equal employment rights; and the Mexican constitution also says that foreigners -- not just illegal immigrants -- may be expelled from the country for any reason and without due process.
