"but there are plenty of republicans that need replaced...it's a place to start." How many? Do you think we'll be better off with Pelosi running the House and Reid the Senate? Are we prepared to turnover all the committee chairs and majorities to Democrats?

No, I don't either. The GOP quite frankly has only bad options and we've you got bad options you take the least harmful of them. Amnesty and a guest worker program is out. That leaves enforcement only and a modest increase in legal immigration levels, perhaps through canceling quotas from Europe and increasing those with Mexico as the answer. If we're going to do it, we better do it the right way and if that's too hard, the next best thing is to do nothing. The worst we could do is give illegal immigration both lawful acceptance and official blessing.

It appears that the Republicans aren't very concerned about this possibility. At least not the ones that should be.
What do you suggest those of us that are outraged at the behavior of our party do? Rewarding them by ignoring their lack of desire to protect America just doesn't work for me. They need punished(IMHO). I have a very short nose, but I am still willing to cut it off a little more.

This may sound stupid and I might get my butt kicked for saying it but, I think a "bad" Republican is way better than a "good" Democrat...
