BTW, this happened in Memphis, which is not in Alabama. Several years ago, Georgia sued Tennessee, claiming that Chattanooga actually belonged to them. I overheard more than one Nashvillian saying that we would let them have Chattanooga if they took Memphis, too.

The deal fell through when they found out they'd have to take West Memphis as well.
