I guess you therefore want to see about 10 new countries where the US used to be. Get real .

I guess you have no understanding of the history of this nation of states or its principles upon founding. The Constitution was a pact between 13 separate and sovereign states, it was intended to hold few powers at the federal level but all the rest remained with the states. What also remained with the states was the right to ignore a federal law if the state believed that law or edict to superseded Constitutional powers. It's called nullification (big word I know, I'll give you a bit to look it up). The Constitution was a list of limitations on the federal government, not a document empowering the the federal government to be supreme over the states on all issues.

So let me get this straight. You classify it as nullification when a bunch of Communists in one of Cali's most Leftist counties enact something which undermines US sovereignty? So by your logic, it would also be OK for said county to, for example, embrace Iran? Do I understand your (il)logic correctly?
