Another take on this unfolding story. Quite a contrast when compared to the MSM and the homosexual activist publications versions -I like the way this is worded... LOL

It's always heartening to read of people fighting the good fight. It's positively joyous to read of them being victorious!

I am so glad this got posted so I could let you guys know the local media take on this.
I only watch one station hear in Charlotte, and that's only at 11PM. This news babe was apoplectic. She made a point of saying that the Char-Meck schools already had these groups, and said the courts had already overturned these decisions when brought by the ACLU. I was screaming at the TV that I bet she would be on the phone with the ACLU before the next newscast.
Sure enough the next night at 11Pm we were treated to the comments from the ACLU lawyer she called.
The Rowan school system better get ready, they are about to spend a lot of money on lawyers.
This whole subject makes me sick. Isn't homosexuality about having sexual relations with a member of the same gender. Why is this being allowed in the schools at all? They are all under age, and there for NO sex groups should be allowed. I want to see a Hetero group start a group about using honey, and fur handcuffs. Let's see if the parents of this school system let that go forward. What's the difference, they're both groups in support of sexual activity.

the radical homosexual agenda that is weaseling its way into our public schools
VERY appropriate choice of words in my opinion.

Good news! As more real Christians and Jews stand up against the rabid Homosexual agenda pushers, we will see more victories like this:
""This is simply one more in a string of defeats for the radical homosexual agenda in the greater Charlotte area," said Rev. Flip Benham, National Director of Operation Save America. "The Church of Jesus Christ has come out of the closet and, and because it has, the homosexual community is steadily moving back into it."
"Just last month, "Charlotte Pride," the annual homosexual lust fest that parades its sin in downtown Charlotte every spring, was pushed into its grave by the Gospel of Christ. How did it happen? Q-notes, the leading gay and lesbian news source in the Carolinas, said this: "The future of Charlottes annual Gay Pride celebration isnt looking too bright these days . . . former Charlotte Pride co-chair Nathan Smith resigned in a virtual burnout and organizers are less than enthusiastic about Charlotte Pride 2006. Chris Conyers (one of the organizers) said, It seems as though community support has gone down and the presence of Operation Save America, I think, has made it unpleasant for many people

I agree.....After all, biologically speaking, the homosexuals cannot reproduce, need a base means to gain ever more public acceptance of their 'alternate lifestyle', so therefore, they need a place to easily recruit our nations young.....the preferred partners for the older perverts.

Methinks the Church should spend more time showing God's love to people than fighting social problems. God's love is stronger than any counter-protest.

Helping people escape from the grip of the homosexual deathstyle is a fantastic way to show God's love. Homosexual acts are depraved and an abomination in God's sight. If we can help people understand that they are not slaves to their deviant sexual desires, we are doing God's work.

Wow, another Gay Pride event shutting its doors AND the schools taking action!

Helping people escape from the grip of the homosexual deathstyle is a fantastic way to show God's love. I agree. However, please show me how a statement like this: "The Church of Jesus Christ has come out of the closet and, and because it has, the homosexual community is steadily moving back into it"
or this: South Rowan High School is free from the bane of a homosexual club today.
or this: The City of Charlotte is free today from the public display of obscene homosexual acts in a public park.
is helping anyone escape from the homosexual lifestyle?
Looks to me like the real message of this group is "We don't care what you do, as long as we don't see it."

This isn't a counterprotest, it is routine maintenance by the vast majority against a disruptive tiny minority of anarchists.
Your point of view reminds me of the parents in the grocery store or restaurant who watch their children having screaming tantrums and stand by smiling at those whose ears are offended by the piercing noise, as if to say, "Isn't he cute?"
Jesus himself turned over the tables of the moneylenders, and spoke of God's wrath to come for the complacent sinner.

Homosexuality is more than a social problem, it is a spiritual problem. If people who believe in God had stood up like this earlier and oftener, we wouldn't be in the fix we're in today.
