Wow. that's quite a commute! Even at highway speeds, I don't know how he does it week after week...
This guy spend about 1/6th of his week on the road. Now that is stupid time management.
Commuting long distance is the norm in my area. It's real nice here, but not much to do for us techie types.
Been doing it for 16 years. My last Saturn has 460,000 miles on it. Just went over 100K with this one.
XM Radio and Ham radio keeps you going.
There are several repeaters that cover all of the commute.

Thirty cups of coffee is a cardiac death sentence. Actually, anything over 5 is too.
After his first attack, he'll probably realize that that commute is costing him a lot more than gas money.
With all the time he has in at Cisco, he probably gets 4 - 6 weeks of vacation. Maybe he takes a lot of 3 and 4 day weekends.
He is probably close to retirement and it sounds like he has a beautiful place to look forward to.
