In a horribly twisted manner!
Obviously that was meant as sarcasm.
I'm trying to figure out if the Comedy Central censoring Mohammed was a joke or was serious. But they have no problem showing Jesus. Were they merely pointing out the hypocracy of western media, or are they actually participating in that hypocracy?
Isaac Hayes (Chef) quit because of an episode called Trapped in the Closet lampooning Tom Cruise and Scientology as a ludicrous cheap science fiction like fraud of a religion. Tom Cruse reportedly threatened to stop promoting MI3 if Viacom (Comedy Centrals parent) re-ran it.
So South Park created a final episode called Chef Returns out of obviously spliced together clips of Chefs words over the years where he returned from being brainwashed by a cult of child molesters posing as big game hunters. In the end, Chef couldnt get out from under their spell, fell down a cliff trying to escape and the had his face and body graphically torn apart and eaten by wild animals.
On second thought, thats pretty ambiguous. They should have come out more strongly against Scientology.
Of course I'm joking.
"Sure, they might go after the Mohammedans, but what about Scientology? Parker and Stone wouldn't dare try to do a show about the RELIGION OF HOLLYWEIRD!"
You made the exact same comment over a week ago. If you mean to be sarcastic then the obligatory sarcasm tag (/sarcasm) would be appropriate. If you are not being sarcastic then why post a line about the lack of a Scientology plot that was so easily refuted last time as it is this time.
Do you read responses? Or are you lonely and know that you will get responses because what you propose has already been done?
ROTFLMAO! You must love the smell of napalm in the morning. :)
Yesterday, too.

South Park is created by Matt Stone and Trey Parker. They created the cartoon with the benign image of Mohammed and the insulting image of Jesus, knowing that the cowards at Comedy Central (who air, but do not create the show) would censor one and not the other.
The point was to illustrate the cowardice and hypocrisy of Comedy Central and western media in general, in the face of threats of violence by islametards.
We really need a standing Sittinyonder Southpark disclaimer... :)
I've always considered it inappropriae to tag sarcasm.
I've learned something today.
To some people, South Park is a crude and vulgar show that depicts little kids doing terrible things to sacred symbols. And the people who hold those symbols sacred really hate South Park.
To other people, South Park is the height of comedic satire and should never be talked about except in the glowingest of terms.
And to others, South Park is a really funny cartoon with a great message, and it keeps on giving because those people can come on FreeRepublic and find a South Park thread and really, really irritate those who hold symbols sacred and those who hold South Park sacred.
But if we were all a little more considerate of other's sacred symbols (be they cartoons or cartoon depictions of the Virgin Mary or Tom Cruise) then the Muslims wouldn't riot and peace would reign on Earth.
Thanks Big Gay Al! Thanks Chef! And thank you, too, The Family Guy!
LOL! ME TOO!
Actually, I think it was the decision of the writers to put in the censorship, just to bait Comedy Channel for not re-airing the scientology episode and the bloody Mary episode.
That's what I thought, but there have been a couple of stories posted today that say otherwise, including one with an interview of the producer.
CC really did censor SP.
no more posts on this please.
too many stupid people who just don't understand south park or the sarcasm used by people who post on the south park ping list.
it's killing the threads!
CC really did censor South Park? Well then hurray for the writers. The two part show was so in your face about it. And the press conference was also very in the face of the idiot media and Bush came off as one of the good guys and the media whores as idiots.
