I think "tolerance" has become a meaningless term; high-jacked by the left to become the touchstone of political correctness.
Actually, this country greatly benefits from and is largely built and sustained by intolerance: intolerance for law breaking (historically), intolerance for laziness and sloth (historically), intolerance for sloppiness and mediocrity, intolerance for disease. We'd be living in hellish anarchy if it weren't for this blessing.
